‘Money’ rappers confirm new solo albums
Rappers Song Min-ho of K-pop boy group Winner and Bobby from the group iKON will release solo albums, according to YG Entertainment on Thursday.
The artists received much attention after appearing on the hip-hop audition program “Show Me the Money,” and news of their albums garnered a big response from fans.
Song and Bobby are both represented by YG Entertainment.
Bobby starred in the third season of the program that aired in 2014, where he took first place.
Song appeared in the fourth season that aired last year. He did not finish in first, but he was able to make a reputation for himself with his knack for rapping and performing.
A source from YG Entertainment said both rappers are putting finishing touches on their albums.
Although a release date has not been announced, the albums are expected to drop soon.
