Flap over flag
A gigantic national flag of Korea was removed Tuesday from the exterior of the Lotte World Tower under construction in Songpa district, southeastern Seoul. A civic group had filed a complaint, saying that current legislation forbids private enterprise from utilizing the national flag. The flag, 24 meters (78.7 feet) high and 36 meters wide, was installed last year to commemorate the National Liberation Day of Korea. [NEWSIS]
