New SUV model celebrates 1 million Santa Fe purchases

Hyundai Motor launched a 2017 Santa Fe model called the “1 Million Edition” on Monday. The automaker said it has sold 960,000 units since the Santa Fe was first introduced in 2000 in Korea; the new version is named for the sales milestone it will soon reach.

Hyundai said its new model comes with customer features such as a safety unlock mechanism and air freshener. Hyundai will also include automatic emergency braking, advanced smart cruise control and a lane departure warning system in its new Santa Fe. The automaker also has added a radiator grille on the SUV to add to its design appeal.
