“Brexit” fallout

The main Kospi market on Friday turned around from Thursday’s recovery as it lost half a percent, or nearly 11 points, as the concerns regarding the unstable Eurozone continue to weigh on the market. The market seemed to have been stabilizing since June 24 when the British voted in favor of leaving the European Union, but that fear proved to still affect the equity market. Kospi was not the only Asian market that retreated, as the Tokyo’s market closed 1.11 percent lower than its previous trade while Shanghai’s market declined nearly 1 percent. The market is now awaiting the U.S. job report, which is speculated to rebound from May’s. [NEWSIS]
