Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Mong-koo, second from right, visited the former headquarters of Korea Electric Power Corporation in Samseong-dong, southern Seoul on Friday. The site will be reconstructed into a new headquarters for the auto group. The 105-story structure, equipped with cultural complexes and convention rooms, will be open to the public. Demolition of the existing building will begin this year using a crushing method, which takes longer than explosion but is safer, the company says. Construction is set for a 2021 completion.
