LG Electronics’ light bulb art, which uses a total of 18,072 bulbs, set a Guinness World Record for being the largest light bulb image last month. The manufacturer created the piece to show how much energy from LG’s “A+++” energy efficiency-rated refrigerator can save compared to an “A+” rated refrigerator widely sold in Europe. The company said one can reduce use by 198.8 kilowatts per hour, which can light a total of 18,072 11-watt light bulbs for an hour. The artwork is 12 meters (39 feet) wide and 9.6 meters long.
