Rappers Iron, 24, and Kidoh, 23, have been indicted for smoking marijuana, the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office said Wednesday.
Several other currently unnamed celebrities, including a singer-songwriter and a former idol star, have also been indicted for the same crime.
“They generally acknowledged their offense,” said prosecutors.
Iron is accused of smoking the drug three times between December 2014 and last March, while Kidoh is accused of smoking it in October 2010 in Bangkok.
Iron became popular through the hip-hop audition program “Show Me the Money 3,” in which he was a semi-finalist.
The use of marijuana is banned in Korea, and is punishable by up to five years in jail or a fine of up to 50 million won ($44,000).
