Soohorang, one of the two mascots for the 2018 Winter Games at PyeongChang, Korea, stands in front of the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. A team from the PyeongChang Organizing Committee (Pocog) will run a promotional center “PyeongChang 2018 House in Rio” on Copacabana Beach, a main attraction of the city as well as the venue for the beach volleyball competition, from August 5 to August 21. The house will promote the PyeongChang Olympics, slated for February 2018, for the duration of the Summer Games through various services for tourists such as providing Korean food at tasting stations.
