Big Bang celebrates 10 years with exhibition

K-pop boy band Big Bang opened an exhibition today to celebrate their 10th anniversary.

“BIGBANG Exhibition A to Z” consists of five sections displaying videos, music and memorabilia that chart the group’s path since its debut in 2006.

“We decided to work on the exhibition after thinking hard about how we can spend our 10th anniversary with the fans,” explained Taeyang at the press conference held at S-Factory in Seongsu-dong, central Seoul, where the exhibition is being held, on Thursday.

“I think this exhibition shows us when we were young,” said Seungri. “Both the good and difficult times we went through are embedded in the exhibits.”

To connect with fans, the five members personally worked on the exhibition rather than relying wholly on professionals, according to G-Dragon.

“One of my favorite displays is the ‘Big Bang Tree,’ which consists of clothes and shoes that we wore when we performed and shot music videos,” he said. “As I hung some of the items, I felt reminded of the past.”

The exhibition will continue throughout Oct. 30.
