Kang Ho-dong will host ‘Korean Food War’
This cooking show is a survival program where chefs from 10 different regions across the nation compete to make the most delicious Korean dish.
“I’m very glad to be able to host a program that contributes in spreading the taste and value of Korean cuisine,” said Kang, who is known for his love of food.
“I’m truly looking forward to meeting the chefs from each region, and I also wonder what kind of food will appear. I will do my best to deliver the war among those chefs in a pleasant and humorous way.”
The first season of the program aired in 2013 and was hosted by a former TV announcer Oh Sang-jin. The second and the third seasons, aired in 2014 and 2015, were hosted by announcer-turned-entertainer Kim Sung-joo.
The new season will begin airing late September.
