EXID will establish their first official fan clubK-pop girl group EXID will establish their first official fan club, “LEGGO,” since their debut four years ago.
The female act will hold an inauguration ceremony for the club on Sept. 11 at the Grand Hall of Yonsei University in Sinchon-dong, western Seoul. The title is a shortened phrase for “Lets Go.”
EXID gathered members of the fan club in April. Banana Culture, which represents the act, wouldn’t disclose the exact number of the club’s members.
Those who wish to attend the inauguration ceremony will be informed of the application process through the act’s official cafe for fans, which also goes by LEGGO, next week. Anybody who signs up for the ceremony will be able to attend the event.
The difference between the fan club and fan cafe is that the former requires annual dues of 22,000 won ($19), while membership to latter is free.
EXID debuted with the digital album “Holla” in 2012. One of their best-known songs is the upbeat dance tune “Up and Down.” Although the track did not gain much attention when released in August 2014, it started resurfacing in local music charts a few months later. Their latest album,“Street,” dropped in June.
