Park Ji-min to release song on Aug. 23
Singer Park Ji-min will release a new song at midnight on Aug. 23.
Park, who is better known as the winner of the music survival program “K-pop Star 1” (2011-12), announced the news by releasing a teaser image of the upcoming track on her official website.
The teaser image has the release date, her name and the word “Again.” Park reportedly took part in composing the upcoming song, which will describe how she feels about having turned 20 this year.
The singer generated huge buzz by starring in “K-pop Star 1.” Park’s singing ability was highly acclaimed by the show’s judges, including singer BoA from SM Entertainment. Many were astounded by Park’s talent despite her young age.
However, Park was not able to come up with mega-hits after the show. She also featured in various background tracks for dramas such as “Jung Yi: Goddess of Fire” (2013).
