Spica prepares for a comeback this month
K-pop female act Spica will make a comeback at the end of this month.
The five members will release the new song “Secret Time” on Aug. 25. It will be the first time for the group to release a song since their digital single “Ghost” in January 2014.
Although no specific details have been disclosed, the upcoming song is expected to be based on an exclusive concept that Spica wish to deliver to their fans.
The group entered the entertainment scene in 2012 with the single “Doggedly.” The group has gained recognition for their singing abilities and has generated numerous hits such as “I’ll Be There,” “You Don’t Love Me” and “Tonight.”
A few of the members have been focusing on solo activities. Yang Ji-won, for example, has extended her career to acting and musicals. Kim Boa generated buzz in 2015 by starring in MBC’s music survival show, “King of Mask Singer.”
