Lee Teuk, Fei to host 2016 Asia Song Festival

Singers Lee Teuk of the K-pop boy group Super Junior and Fei of female act Miss A will host 2016 Asia Song Festival, according to the music festival’s organizing committee on Friday.

“Lee Tuk and Fei have been selected to host the 2016 Asia Song Festival, which will take place at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium on Oct. 9.”
Numerous K-pop artists, including boy group Exo, girl group Twice and rapper Simon Dominic have been confirmed to perform at the festival.

Asia Song Festival initially kicked off in 2014 as an entertaining way of boosting the local economy. This year will mark the festival’s third anniversary.

“As the Asia Song Festival is becoming more popular, singers who wish to take part are also increasing,” said a source affiliated with the event. “We will select qualified singers from each country to provide more diverse entertainment.”

The upcoming festival will be co-hosted by the Korea Music Content Industry Association, and it is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
