Park Min-ha signs with new agency

Park Min-ha, a former member of the girl group 9muses, recently signed an exclusive contract with talent agency J,WIDE-Company, according to the agency on Wednesday.

The new contract signals Park’s ambitions to turn actress after leaving 9muses in June.

“We will fully support her development into an actress,” the agency said in its announcement. “Please show Park great support.”

Park debuted in 2010 as a member of 9muses with the single “Let’s Have a Party.” However, the group was not able to garner much popularity due to frequent changes in its members. Some of the act’s better-known songs are “Dolls” and “Hurt Locker.”

J,WIDE-Company represents various popular stars, including actor Lee Sang-yun and actress Kim Tae-ri, who recently shot to fame through the hit movie “The Handmaiden,” released in June.
