Sechs Kies members sign deals with YG

Singers Lee Jae-jin and Kang Sung-hoon of first-generation boy group Sechs Kies have signed an exclusive contract with YG Entertainment.

YG signed an exclusive contract with the act in May, and followed up with management deals with the two members to fully support not only the group, but also help each individual with their entertainment activities.

The agency released photos of the five Sechs Kies members on Thursday in advance of the group’s upcoming concert, “2016 SECHSKIES CONCERT [YELLOW NOTE],” which is slated to take place at the Seoul Olympic Gymnasium in southern Seoul on Sept. 10 and 11. It will be the first concert for the group since it disbanded in 2000.

Originally made up of six members when the group was in its heyday in the ‘90s, one of its members, Ko Ji-yong, decided not to join with the group.

The male act reunited on MBC’s reality program “Infinite Challenge” in April, putting the group in the spotlight, and exciting fans once again.
