Lee Ji-hyun’s divorce final after long battle
Singer-actress Lee Ji-hyun from the now-defunct girl group Jewelry finalized her divorce after three years of marriage.According to legal circles on Monday, Lee’s divorce became official last week in Suwon District Court.
Since she filed to the court in March to adjust their divorce, Lee and her husband have had difficulty coming to an agreement regarding child custody.
However, the two came to a consensus last week although specific details on the settlement have not become public.
Lee gave up on the compensation and the division of property, since she believed getting custody was of the utmost importance, according to the celebrity’s attorney.
Lee married an office worker seven years her senior in March 2013, and they have a daughter and a son.
The singer was one of the most popular members during Jewelry’s heyday in the early to mid 2000s. However, she left the group in 2006 to focus on acting.
