‘Monster’ actress hospitalized

Actress Cho Bo-ah has been hospitalized after being diagnosed with encephalomeningitis, an inflammation of the brain and membranes that surround the brain and spinal cord, according to her entertainment company Sidus HQ on Wednesday.

Cho entered the hospital on Tuesday after finishing a day of shooting for the MBC drama “Monster.” The actress will get a medical examination for her illness.

“It seems necessary for [Cho] to be hospitalized for a few days,” said a source from her agency. “The shooting schedule for ‘Monster’ will be adjusted.”
