Lee Ye-rim, the daughter of comedian Lee Kyung-kyu, will star in a new webdrama.
An official for the drama told Ilgan Sports on Wednesday that, “Lee Ye-rim recently finished filming the new webdrama titled ‘We Love You, Dear Customer - The Telephone Murder Case of the Call Center’.”
The series is directed by An Seong-gon, who previously worked in the SBS entertainment department, and is about a murder in a customer service center. Lee’s role was originally given to an unnamed girl group member before being replaced.
Like her father before her, Lee currently attends Dongguk University as a film major. This is her first appearance in a drama.
Lee Kyung-kyu recently appeared on MBC’s “Radio Star” and said, “It’s true that Ye-rim was destined to appear on television because of my profession. It is also true that she has had more opportunities than other celebrities. However, it is still up to the viewers to decide. If she lacks acting ability or entertaining qualities, she will be ignored just like everyone else.”
