Doosan Group announces new corporate slogan

Doosan Group has changed its corporate slogan to “We prepare for tomorrow now.” Its previous slogan, “Human is the future,” backfired last December after construction machinery subsidiary Doosan Infracore received voluntary retirement applications from newly-recruited entry-level workers as the business soured.

Doosan, the country’s 11th-largest conglomerate, said Wednesday that it began running three new television commercials in its key business sectors of energy, desalination and construction machinery on Monday.

“The commercials embrace Doosan’s renewed intention to fully invest in future growth drivers as our chairman, Park Jeong-won, noted in his inaugural address in March,” the company said in a press release.
