7-Eleven launches service to convert spare change to points

7-Eleven has become the first convenience store to launch a service that converts small change into online points.
Called the NPay Change Recharge Service, the service is a collaboration with internet portal site Naver.
If customers have leftover change after paying for a product at 7-Eleven, they can have the change converted into cyber money for Naver Pay, a payment platform for purchasing products on Naver Shopping.
The service was devised for customers who don’t pay with coins. They can use the service by requesting change conversion and showing a Naver app bar code on their smartphone after paying for a product at a 7-Eleven convenience store.
