Infinite back on the charts with mini-album

테스트

Boy group Infinite returned on Monday with a new mini-album, “INFINITE ONLY.”

The album marked their return as a seven-member unit after little over a year.

The group was also able to reach the top spot on various Korean music charts including Mnet, Naver Music, and Genie within an hour of the release of their first track “The Eye.”

The song was written and composed by the hit-makers behind Infinite’s “Back,” “Destiny,” as well as SHINee’s “Dream Girl” and f(x)’s “Rum Pum Pum Pum.” Members of the group also participated in the songwriting process, with Hoya and Dongwoo writing lyrics for some songs on the album.

The members shared some details about the preparations for their comeback through a live show broadcast through the Naver V app on Sunday. In particular, Hoya spoke of the various injuries the members received during their world tour and busy performance schedule.

Infinite debuted in 2010 with the single “Come Back Again” to positive reception and high praise for their live performances.

Since then, the group continued to release hit records, with their 2013 effort “New Challenge” becoming a bestseller that year.
