어떤 종류의 과일을 좋아하나요?
과일은 맛있기도 하지만 비타민이 풍부하기 때문에 나는 다양한 종류의 신선한 과일을 많이 먹는다. 제철 과일만큼 좋은 것은 없다. 나는 아삭아삭한 사과와 과즙이 풍부하고 군침 돌게 하는 수박을 특히 좋아한다. 다행히도 한국에서는 일 년 내내 다양한 종류의 잘 익은 과일을 구할 수 있다. 여름이 오면 수박이 제철이 된다. 좋은 과일을 잘 고르는 방법을 아는 것이 중요하다. 예를 들어, 수박이 잘 익었는지 알려면 수박 겉을 톡톡 쳐 보고 속이 비어 있는 듯한 울리는 소리가 나는지 들어 보는 것이 가장 좋다. 나는 한국만의 독특한 과일들도 좋아한다. 한국의 배는 정말 맛있다. 입에서 살살 녹는다`!
What kind of fruits do you like?
I tuck into a wide selection of fresh fruits because they are both tasty and loaded with vitamins. There’s nothing quite like seasonal fruits. I go bananas over crisp apples and juicy, mouth-watering watermelons. Thankfully, in Korea, we can get our hands on a variety of ripe fruits all year round. Come summer, it will be the optimal watermelon season. It’s important to know how to cherry-pick the right fruits. For instance, to determine the ripeness of a watermelon, your best bet is to tap the outside and listen for a hollow sound. I also love fruits that are unique to Korea. The Korean pear, also known as bae, is excellent. It melts in your mouth!
