CJ CheilJedang has sold 500,000 Cookit boxes
CJ CheilJedang, Korea’s leading food manufacturer, said Wednesday that it has sold more than 500,000 Cookit boxes since launching the brand at the end of July.Cookit includes all of the supplementary ingredients for a dish in a box that costs less than 5,000 won ($4.49). CJ offers a diverse menu such as Italian truffle risotto, Japanese okonomiyaki and Chinese sweet and sour pork.
The company said it expects the market size to surpass 10 billion won in five years.
