Wonder Boyz’ legal woes come to an end

“The two parties came to an amicable agreement, and decided to settle outside court with mutual consent,” said Kim’s lawyer Sun Jong-moon.
The members of the boy band filed charges in June against the CEO of their former agency, Kim, over physical assault and unfair usage of the members’ income. Kim denied all charges and claimed to set the story straight in court, while also filing a civil lawsuit of his own against the boy band members for defamation and spreading false information.
According to the lawyer, the two parties met privately without their respective legal agents, and shared a “frank conversation.” After the two parties issued an apology to each other, they decided to both drop their respective lawsuits.
An official from Kim’s agency, Ent 102, said, “Kim and the members of the boy band have cleared their misunderstandings and are on good terms with each other. Kim is hard at work with the remaining member of Wonder Boyz, and wishes for the best for the other three members in the future.”
