Kim Soo-hyun aims for future in bowling

테스트

Actor Kim Soo-hyun will try his hand at competing in professional bowling.

According to the Korea Professional Bowling Association (KPBA) on Thursday, the actor signed up for the 22nd Korean bowling try outs, to be held for four days starting on Oct. 22.

Depending on their scores, ten male and ten female athletes will be selected to become professional bowlers.

An official from Kim’s agency KeyEast Entertainment confirmed the news, saying “Kim has always had a love for the sport. However, although we support his hobbies, we worry it may bring unnecessary backlash to the bowling community.”

The actor previously said on a Chinese variety program last year that his best bowling score was 250. The actor will attend the first round of try-outs on the 22nd, and if he passes, he will move on to the second round on the 29th.

If Kim succeeds, he will join rhythmic gymnast Shin Soo-ji and actor Jang Hee-woong, who both became professional bowlers in 2014.

Kim recently completed filming for upcoming film “Real” (2017).
