나는 오랫동안 아침 일과를 제대로 하지 못하고 있다. 나는 몇 번이나 아침 일찍 일어나서 활기차게 하루를 시작하겠다고 스스로에게 다짐했었다. 하지만 사실을 말하자면 나는 결코 아침형 인간이었던 적이 없다. 사실 나는 완전히 올빼미족이다. 침대에서 미적거리며 휴대전화의 스누즈 버튼을 누르는 경우가 많다. 보통은 그러다가 침대에서 황급히 벌떡 일어난다. 늦을 수도 있다는 걱정으로 긴박감에 쫓기게 된다. 급하게 뛰쳐나가더라도 항상 손에는 커피를 들고 나간다. 나는 아침이면 항상 커피를 꼭 마셔야 한다.

Talk about how you wake up in the morning.

Over the years, I have failed to come up with a proper morning routine. I have told myself time and time again to get a jump-start on my day by waking up bright and early. But the truth of the matter is that I have never been a morning person. In fact, I’m completely a night owl. I often choose to linger in bed and hit the snooze button on my phone. This usually makes me spring out of bed in a hurry. A sense of urgency is reinforced with the fear of running late. I dash out but always with a cup of coffee in hand. I have always had a soft spot for morning coffee.
