This is today’s anchor briefing.
지금 듣고 계신 노래, 가수 김광석의 노래로 많이 알려져 있지만 원래 이 곡은 지난주 노벨문학상 수상으로 세상을 놀라게 한 가수 밥 딜런의 노래입니다.
This song is known by many Koreans to be Kim Kwang-seok’s, but is actually written by Bob Dylan, who surprised the world by receiving the Nobel Prize for Literature last week.

Bob Dylan has, for many years, comforted wounded souls with his satirical songs about this odd world.

김광석 이전에 가수 양병집이 가사를 바꿔 불렀던 밥 딜런의 같은 노래는 가사와 창법이 저속하다 해서 한때 금지곡으로 지정되기도 했었지요.
Before Kim Kwang-seok, another singer Yang Pyong-chip sang the same song with different lyrics. But his version was banned for a while due to “ vulgar lyrics and singing style.”

그러나 그것이 엄혹한 세상에 대한 풍자 때문이었다는 것은 모두가 아는 사실…
However, we all know that it was because his lyrics satirized this harsh world.

As the remake of the song says, we live in a world where cars run on two wheels and planes fly in the water.

노래가 금지의 시대를 지나 계속 대중에게 사랑받은 이유는 우리가 사는 세상이 노래 가사 속 그 세상처럼 정말로 복잡하고 아리송했기 때문일지도 모르겠습니다.
The song is still loved to this day. Maybe it’s because we’ve really been living in the complicated world the song depicts.

Confusing incidents keep on occurring, and they’re as confusing as hunters catching fish or fishermen hunting for birds.

그래서일까… 여당 내에서조차 지적이 나왔고 SNS엔 해명을 요구하는 말들이 넘쳐나고 있지만 밥 딜런의 또 다른 가사를 흉내 내서 말하자면 그 답은 바람 속에서도 들려오지 않았습니다.
Social media is filled with people calling for explanations, and even some inside the ruling party are requesting them as well. But mimicking the lyrics of Bob Dylan’s song, the answer is not even blowing in the wind.

The aforementioned song’s original title was “Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right.”
