Girls’ Generations Taeyeon announces new track

테스트

Singer Taeyeon of girl group Girls’ Generation will surprise fans with the release of her latest solo track “11:11” on Tuesday.

According to a source on Friday, the upcoming release will be a pop ballad, and was described as being a song well-suited for “peaceful autumn nights.” The singer’s vocals will be accompanied by an acoustic guitar for an unplugged sound.

The track’s songwriting was handled by famed lyricist Kim Eana, who previously wrote songs such as “Abracadabra” (2009) by girl group Brown Eyed Girls, and “Good Day” (2010) by singer IU. Kim’s latest lyrics will reportedly be about “the moment just before a relationship is about to end.”

The singer’s previous solo efforts were well-received, with her singles “I” (2015) and “Why” (2016) topping both Korean and international charts on iTunes.
