Kim Min-hee discussing return to acting
According to a source which talked to Ilgan Sports on Monday, the actress met up with her old manager to discuss her return to the industry. Kim is reportedly receiving many new offers for films and is planning her upcoming roles.
The actress was previously accused of having an affair with married film director Hong Sang-soo in June, though both parties have remained silent. Hong reportedly left his family after being married for thirty years after allegedly announcing his relationship with Kim to his wife and daughter.
Following outrage from the general public as a result of the scandal, Kim has been avoiding public appearances and is operating without an agency.
The source added that Kim herself never admitted to having the affair, and never confirmed her retirement from acting, adding that the actress is among the “tops” when it comes to casting choices.
According to witnesses, Kim and Hong have been flying back and forth between Korea and overseas, though their relationship status remains unclear.
