Joy and Seul-ong’s collab tops music charts

Idol singers Lim Seul-ong of 2AM and Joy of Red Velvet’s collaboration “Always in My Heart” debuted at the top of the charts on Friday.

The song, which was released as a part of SM Entertainment’s digital music project Station, managed to top three music charts upon release, including Genie, Mnet, and Olleh Music.

The track was described as a mid-tempo ballad, featuring the two singers complementing each other in a heart-wrenching song about mutual break-up. Netizens described the song as being similar in style to Seulong’s previous single “Nagging,” which he collaborated with fellow singer IU in 2010.

The two stars were praised for their performances in the music video for the single as well, which was released on the same day.

The track was unveiled in a sea of recent major releases from heavy-hitting artists including Twice, Exo-CBX, BlackPink, MC Mong, and Park Hyo-shin.
