On your mark
Some 17,000 people take part in the JoongAng Seoul International Marathon 2016, which started from the Seoul Sports Complex in Jamsil in the southeastern Songpa District, on a 42-kilometer (26-mile) course to Seongnam in Gyeonggi and back. The international marathon, which also includes disabled participants, is in its 18th run. It is hosted by the JoongAng Ilbo, Ilgan Sports, the Korea Association of Athletics Federations and WeStart.
