High school entrepreneurs headed to Tokyo contest

HSBC Korea selected 22 high school entrepreneur teams that will compete in the international arena next year in Tokyo.

This year, 55 teams participated in JA Korea’s program that HSBC has been sponsoring since last year. The program encourages high school students to build on their entrepreneurial skills with products that actually could be marketed and sold.

Students from Korea Digital Medial High School won the top spot with an online postcard application while Seoul Robot High School took second place with a special cloth hanger.

The final competition was held at Olympic Parktel followed by a ceremony at the Youth Center, Seongdong District, Seoul, the following day.
