[Sponsored Report] GEMBA offers unique MBA degree in Shanghai

The Global Executive MBA (GEMBA) program in Shanghai represents a powerful partnership between the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business and Shanghai Jiao Tong University’s Antai College of Economics & Management, capturing the best of a truly global educational experience.

GEMBA is a 20-month course that can be taken on a part-time basis. The program provides unique opportunities to study and establish networks in multiple centers of world business. Our campuses in Shanghai and Los Angeles are energized by the same Pacific Rim dynamism and growth that empowers students to build their own careers.

GEMBA students from across the world will learn from superb faculty members and share invaluable experiences. The program attracts a broad cross-section of business professionals, including senior executives from multinational, private and public companies; entrepreneurs; and leaders of family-owned businesses from Korea, the United States, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and mainland China.

The benefits of a GEMBA degree are undeniable: relevant classes taught by superb faculty, an outstanding global network and lifelong friendships within the worldwide USC Trojan Family. Students will become “deep generalists,” gaining sufficient mastery of technical skills such as accounting finance, management, strategy and marketing. More critically, they will gain the experience of integrating these skills into a cohesive, strategic whole.

Unlike traditional MBA programs that offer discrete courses conducted within academic silos - and then expect students to integrate the course materials themselves - the GEMBA program continuously exposes students to different and sometimes conflicting aspects of business, always within the context of broader, timeless themes that are pertinent to any company or industry.

GEMBA transforms students into true global leaders. Alumni in Korea will share their perspectives on the GEMBA program and doing business in China at the Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas on Nov. 22. For registration, contact uscgemba@sjtu.edu.cn or visit www.gemba.sjtu.edu.cn/en for more details.
