Lesson in virtual reality

Children look at a hologram installed inside Gakri Elementary School in Cheongju, North Chungcheong, on Tuesday. The hologram was provided by SK Telecom for the company’s campaign to curb Internet and phone addiction, the “Right ICT Camp,” which runs through Friday. The campaign runs along with the company’s T.um Mobile exhibition, in which SK Telecom offers the visitors the opportunity to experience high-end digital technology until Sunday. Gakri Elementary School is the 23rd venue for the company’s campaign, and this visit features professionals in the ICT sector to teach children the importance of ICT technology as well as prevent juvenile Internet addiction. “We held the event in hopes of enlightening the children of the ICT world and giving them unique experience, since they will lead the fourth industrial revolution,” said SK Telecom.
