New Year’s fish

Fish on sale at the Noryangjin Fish Market in Dongjak District, southwestern Seoul, on Thursday. The government plans to add 7,200 tons of fishery goods from its stock to the market through Jan. 26 in hopes of stabilizing food prices ahead of Lunar New Year on Jan. 28. The additional supply is expected to help lower overall fish prices by a maximum 30 percent. [YONHAP]
