A stock board at KEB Hana Bank in central Seoul on Thursday shows the Kospi closing above 2,100, while the Korean won weakened to 1,141.60 on the dollar. This was the first time the Kospi returned above the 2,100 mark since Feb. 23. The upbeat performance was largely contributed by the U.S. market, which continues to break records. [YONHAP]
