The opposition Liberty Korea Party plans to propose a bill aimed at cutting the price of a pack of cigarettes from 4,500 won ($4) to 2,500 won to help ease ordinary people’s tax burden. When it was the ruling party, the LKP raised the price to 4,500 won in 2015 to help promote health.
