Sung Si-kyung takes swing as tennis analyst


Singer Sung Si-kyung has been invited to be a guest commentator for Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) World Tour singles semi-final match on Saturday night.

The ATP World Tour is an elite men’s professional tennis circuit organized by the Association of Tennis Professionals.

Local sports channel, Sky Sports revealed on Friday that the singer will be one of the three commentators covering the match on Saturday night at 11 p.m. The match between Roger Federer of Switzerland and Marin Cilic of Croatia will take place in London. It added that Sung is a tennis lover, and is close to former Korean professional tennis player Im Kyu-tae, who will also be a commentator. The other commentator will be sportscaster Park Chan.

In addition to singing popular songs such as “In The Street” (2006) and “Fondly, Goodbye” (2016), the singer has appeared on a number of variety shows such as JTBC’s “Non-Summit” and KBS2’s “Battle Trip.”
