Celebs cheer for test-takers on social media

테스트

Celebrities took to social media on Thursday to offer words of encouragement to the high school students taking the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT). The wishes took on a more sincere tone than ever before due to the unprecedented one-week postponement of the test after an earthquake hit the southeastern city of Pohang last week.

In the morning, actor Yoo Ah-in, pictured left, uploaded a post on Instagram, saying “First of all, just do your best, and achieve the best results possible, since you all have studied hard for this day. This so-called CSAT, or ‘the test that ranks humans into different levels based only on their scores,’ may rate your performance, put you in different universities, and your stance in society may differ due to this day, but regardless of all this, you are all precious and will be beautiful forever. Your individualities can never be rated by others. That is the sincere truth.”

Actress Gong Hyo-jin said in a post, “To students who have been studying hard for an extra week for this day, don’t forget your ID cards, and good luck!”

Seol-hyun from the girl group AOA, pictured right, wrote, “You all have worked hard. Try to be calm and I hope that you will achieve the best results for all of your hard work.” Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon said, “Do your best on the test, and you are all free now. Good luck! Let’s spend a wonderful end-of-the-year together.”
