Psy gives 100 million won to Pohang victims
Rapper and singer Psy donated 100 million won ($92,284) Monday to a local charity to help victims of the recent earthquake in Pohang, his management said.
The “Gangnam Style” star sent the money to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association using his original Korean name, Park Jae-sang, YG Entertainment said.
The magnitude 5.4 quake struck Pohang, 370 kilometers southeast of Seoul, on Nov. 15, damaging thousands of structures, forcing about 2,000 people to abandon their homes.
