A filling station in Seongbuk District, central Seoul, sells gas at 1,502 won per liter ($5.24 per gallon) and diesel at 1,303 won per liter on Sunday. Gas prices at the station have risen by more than 100 won per liter in the past four months. On Sunday, the average price of gasoline in Korea was 1,530.41 won per liter, according to Opinet, the price information provider of the Korea National Oil Corporation. [YONHAP]
