Lovelyz manager sorry for threatening fan
After the fan meeting on Sunday, an attendee uploaded a post to a fan forum claiming that the group’s manager took her to the bathroom after she glared at the manager because she felt that the meeting was ending too soon.
According to the post, the manager took the fan with him into a bathroom and after locking the door, held the fan’s shoulders and asked her how old she was and why she stared at him in a threatening voice.
Other fans suspected the validity of the claim, but the agency confirmed that the contents of the post were true.
“The manager acknowledged the accusations to be true, for which he takes responsibility. We’ll take appropriate measures inside our company to make sure that this kind of situation does not occur again,” read the apology.
The group made their debut in November 2014 with their first album, “Girls’ Invasion.” They released an EP, “Fall In Lovelyz,” on Nov. 14, featuring the single “Twinkle.”
