KT partners with Chinese, Japanese firms for AI study

KT is teaming up with China Mobile and NTT Docomo to develop artificial intelligence technology and related services.
According to the Korean mobile carrier on Wednesday, the Korean, Chinese and Japanese companies agreed to form a task force dedicated to AI development. The three have been in a partnership since 2011, when they established a so-called Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement.
The partnership will last until January 2022.
