The Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology holds the country’s first artificial intelligence football match on Friday in Daejeon. Engineering students from 18 universities built virtual teams that taught themselves how to play the sport by analyzing past games. A group from Chonbuk National University won the competition, earning 10 million won ($9,200) for scoring the most goals. [YONHAP]
