Moon apologizes for comfort women deal with Japan

President Moon Jae-in and first lady Kim Jung-sook usher an elderly woman, who in her youth was forced into sexual slavery by the Imperial Japanese Army before and during World War II, into the dining room of the Blue House, on Thursday. Moon invited eight of the so-called “comfort women” to the Blue House for a luncheon on Thursday and apologized for the 2015 deal with Japan on the comfort women issue.
