A monthlong probe by Korea’s financial regulator found 22 cases of alleged hiring irregularities at banks, the regulator said Friday.
The Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) launched a probe last month into 11 commercial lenders, including such major players as Kookmin, KEB Hana, Shinhan and Nonghyup, over suspected hiring-related wrongdoings.
The probe found nine cases of allegations that some banks gave special favors to job candidates related to senior executives.
