Regulator finds 22 cases of hiring irregularities at banksA monthlong probe by Korea’s financial regulator found 22 cases of alleged hiring irregularities at banks, the regulator said Friday.
The Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) launched a probe last month into 11 commercial lenders, including such major players as Kookmin, KEB Hana, Shinhan and Nonghyup, over suspected hiring-related wrongdoings.
The probe found nine cases of allegations that some banks gave special favors to job candidates related to senior executives.
