Lee Joong-keun, chairman of Booyoung Group, is surrounded by reporters at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office on Thursday, where he is being questioned over his involvement in a series of crimes, from evading taxes to managing a slush fund. Last week, the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office raided the Booyoung Housing headquarters and other properties in central Seoul to confiscate evidence, including accounting books and computer hard drives.
