Lee Yong-ae returning to film after 13 years

Actress Lee Young-ae will return to the big screen after a 13-year hiatus with a new film titled “Find Me,” her agency and a production firm announced Wednesday.
According to her agency, Good People Entertainment, and 26 Company, the production firm, the veteran actress will play the role of a mother named Jeong-sun who has lost her mentally disabled son.
“Lee has decided to appear in the film as she was deeply touched by the interesting story and the character that embodies sublime motherhood,” said the production company in a statement.
Filming is expected to begin in the first half of this year after casting is completed, the company said.
