Top K-pop acts will head to Japan for KCON




Wanna One, Twice and other leading K-pop acts will grace the Japanese leg of KCON, a global Korean pop music and culture convention, next month, according to its organizer Monday.

The three-day event at the Makuhari Messe convention center in Chiba, east of Tokyo, from April 13 will feature Wanna One, Twice, Gugudan, Pentagon, GFriend, Fromis 9, Sunmi, Golden Child and Wooyoung of 2PM, according to CJ E&M.

The artists were announced in addition to the previously announced lineup of Momland, Seventeen, Stray Kids, Monsta X, SF9 and Samuel.

First launched in Irvine, California, in 2012, KCON events are held annually in multiple countries around the world.
